What this site collects

When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, an optional phone number, which house you asked about, and your message. That is used to answer you and nothing else.

When you request a price for specific dates, the dates, guest count, and pet count are sent to the property management system that holds the calendar, so it can compute a quote. That request is not tied to your identity unless you go on to book.

The mailing list

If you tick the box and leave an address, we hold that address and the date you gave it, and nothing else. There is no tracking pixel in the mail and no profile built from what you open.

You agreed to exactly this: “Email me occasionally about open dates and what is new at the three houses. No third party gets this address, and replying to any message takes it off the list.” Replying to any message we send takes you off the list, and so does emailing the address at the bottom of this page. Nothing is sent unless you ticked that box, and the ticked box is never the default.

What happens when you book

A booking is handled by the property management system of record, which collects the details needed to hold a reservation and take payment. Your card details are never stored on this site.

Measurement

No analytics and no advertising tag is loaded on any page of this site. No third party is fetched into these pages and nothing follows you between them. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than a font network, so opening a page does not make a request to anybody else.

That is a statement about this build rather than a promise about the future. If measurement is switched on, it will be gated behind a choice you have to make, nothing will load before you make it, and this paragraph will change with it: it is generated from the same setting the loader reads, so it cannot describe a site other than the one you are on.

Sharing

Your details are shared with the property management system that holds the booking, and with the email service that delivers messages from the contact form and the mailing list. They are not sold and not shared for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at the address below. A booking record may need to be retained for tax and accounting reasons even after a stay ends.
